2)Ask questions relating to your prospective date's background, their workplace, residence, habits and marital status. These questions give you important information about your date so that dangerous situations might not arise in the future. You also get to know the person better.
3)Your first dating schedule should be simple and short. A first date must last for duration of an hour or three hours at the most. Such a dating plan would be failsafe besides giving you the option of not prolonging a date that is not going anywhere.
4)The dating location should be chosen carefully. It should be chosen with mutual agreement. The location so chosen should be public yet intimate as a crowded one would not be of great help. A nice conversation is a prerequisite for a successful date.
5)Ensure your safety. Always inform a close friend about your dating plans. These include the location of the date and your date's contact information. This is absolutely essential as crimes such as date rape are on the rise.
6)A pledge should be made for trying the date to be successful. This is achieved by sharing the financial burden by both the partners. Not ensuring mutual trust and respect creates hard feelings, which are obstacles to a successful date.
7)Keep on dating till you find an ideal person whom you would like to spend the rest of your life with. And this would take some time.
